One of Succession’s primary goals is to serve the Charlotte community.
Since 2004, our members have directed the following outreach projects:
• Collecting coats for the homeless
• Collecting toys for disadvantaged children
• Delivering Christmas trees to single mothers
• Building homes for Habitat for Humanity
• Volunteering at Crisis Assistance Ministry
In addition to the regular service opportunities presented by Succession’s Outreach Committee, our annual golf tournaments have raised more than $100,000 for the following local nonprofit organizations:
A CHILD’S PLACE, which works to erase the impact of homelessness on the 3,237 identified homeless CMS students, ensuring they get the education necessary to break the cycle of poverty.
THE AVENIR FOUNDATION, which provides need-based scholarships to Charlotte-area schools and supports mentoring programs.
THE HARVEST CENTER, which aims to meet the spiritual and physical needs of Charlotte’s homeless population.
THE STEELE CREEK YOUTH NETWORK, which provides youth ages 11 to 18 anti-gang and anti-violence programming.
THE LEVINE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL, whose state-of-the-art health care facility is designed to care for the physical and emotional needs of children and their families.
SPEEDWAY CHILDREN’S CHARITIES, which provides funding for hundreds of non-profit organizations to care for children in educational, financial, social and medical need.
