Brian Rollar, President
Brian currently serves as director of development for York Development Group, a commercial real estate firm specializing in retail and mixed used projects. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from West Virginia University. Outside of Succession, Brian servers on the Ballantyne Executive Board of Directors for the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce. Brian and his wife Jennifer are proud parents of their son Hudson, and daughter Hayley.
Steven Abels, Vice-President
Steven became a member of Succession in 2010 and chaired the Outreach Committee in 2011. He grew up in Hickory, North Carolina, is the oldest of 4 children, and attended North Carolina State University where he earned a degree in Public Relations and Business Management. Steven is a partner with the independent financial planning firm, Integrated Financial Strategies where he is responsible for all marketing functions including branding as well as new business development. Steven and his wife Michelle moved back to Charlotte from stints in Greensboro and New York City and have a son named Gannon and a daughter named Gabriella.
Sean McKinley, Treasurer
Sean currently serves as a director for Trinity Capital Advisors, a boutique private equity real estate investment company. His responsibilities include sourcing, underwriting, and closing transactions for their real estate fund. He holds undergraduate degrees from the University of Kentucky, and master’s degrees in accounting and real estate development from University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, respectively. Sean and his wife Beth are parents to their daughter Grace and are members of Forest Hill Church.
Doug LaBrosse, Secretary
Doug is a Financial Advisor with the LaBrosse Byerley Group at Merrill Lynch and has been a member of Succession since 2010. He graduated with a degree in Economics & Commerce and Political Science from Hampden-Sydney College, where he was a member of the golf team. He is a native Charlottean, where he and his wife, Tori, still reside.
David Romero, Advisor
David has been a member of Succession since 2005. He grew up in Charlotte and is a graduate of Providence Day School and Auburn University. He is an Employee Benefits Consultant with Rutherfoord, A Marsh & McLennan Agency and serves on several boards in our community. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, basketball, and watching Carolina Panthers and Auburn Football.
